- Excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and sunlight.
- Resistant to automatic transmission fluid.
- Resistant to type A power steering fluid.
- Not suitable for use in alcohol, alkalis, glycol based brake fluids, EP fluids, chlorinated hydrocarbons, gear oils, water or steam >275°F, acids, and amines.
- Typical formulation is only good up to -5°F.
- Poorer water compatibility, cold flexibility, strength, and compression set resistance than Nitrile.
- Not suitable for high-pressure applications.
- Incompatible with concentrated acids, bases, and strong chemicals.
- Not suitable for dynamic applications.
