• Resistant to aging and weathering.
• Non-toxic with no odor.
• Can be compounded to meet the requirements set by the FDA, USP Class VI, USDA, 3-A, and Canada AG.
• Excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone, sunlight, vegetable oil, and grease.
• Resistant to fungal and biological attack.

Silicone O-Ring Limitations

• Not suitable for dynamic applications.
• Low tear strength and poor abrasion resistance.
• High gas permeability.
• Not compatible with concentrated acids, concentrated bases, concentrated solvents, petroleum-based substances, diluted sodium hydroxide, aromatic mineral oil, aromatic hydrocarbons, aromatic mineral oil, and superheated water or steam >250°F.
